Chapter 6: The Keeper's Revelation

When Lira opened her eyes, she was no longer in the forest. She stood in a vast, empty plain, the sky above a swirling mass of gray and black. The air was cold, and the silence was deafening. Kael was nowhere to be seen.

"Kael?" she called, her voice trembling. "Where are you?"

There was no response. Lira's heart pounded as she realized where she was—the Veil, the boundary between life and death. The spirits had brought her here, and now she was alone.

But as she turned, she saw a figure in the distance, cloaked in shadows. It was the Keeper, her eyes burning with a cold, malevolent light.

"Prove your worth," she demanded. "Face the final trial."

Lira and Kael exchanged a glance, their hands tightening around each other's. They stepped forward, their resolve unshakable. The final trial had begun.
